I'm due a weekend away to leeds on Saturday for my boyfriends 21st birthday so I may be making a few purchases.
I've been eyeing up this topshop white boyfriend coat for a while and I feel like I might have to bite the bullet. I love how boyfriend style coats can be dressed up and down too suit the occasion and I can picture this with chunky black boots or pointed heels and looking chic either way.
I've also recently dyed my hair a super dark shade of brown/black so I think this pale powdery blue angora jumper would look great with it. Having darker hair, I find it easier to wear lighter shades of clothing and don't feel the need to wear so much black. As it is November now it's totally acceptable too buy copious amounts of unnecessary knitwear I guess.
Speaking of november, since the dark nights have been creeping in I'm discovering my love for burning candles. I find them strangely therapeutic and super relaxing. My boyfriend works for a menswear store called end clothing which stocks a.p.c and I've been eyeing up their menswear which I love (super minimalistic and good quality basics, right up my street), so this candle seems like the perfect purchase. Plus I think it would look cute on my dressing table. Shallow, but so what...
Since purchasing two pairs of pointed stiletto heels about a month ago, I've found a new love for pointed shoes. I can't decide between these h&m flats and a topshop pair of loafers, but I feel like these can be dressed up easier. I mean who am I kidding, ill probably end up buying both, but whatevz.
Lastly, I'm not totally sure about my current Ren cleanser that I'm using, as it is a gel formulation which I don't feel is getting my makeup off properly. And to be honest, I'm missing the ritual of using my Muslim cloths and having a good thorough scrub. I've been hearing a lot about clinique take a day off recently in the beauty blogger world and I guess curiosity is going too get the better of me soon enough. Watch this space for reviews...
